David Lagercrantz is a Swedish journalist and writer born in 1962 in Solna Municipality, Stockholm County. He is best known for writing the autobiography I am Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a biography of the footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Lagercrantz is also recognized as the author of The Girl in the Spider's Web and subsequent installments in the Millennium series, the crime fiction franchise originally created by Stieg Larsson. He took over the series after Larsson's death, continuing the stories of Lisbeth Salander and Mikael Blomkvist. Beyond his book work, Lagercrantz is a columnist for the Swedish newspaper Expressen, contributing regularly to the publication.
