Eleanor Henderson is an American author known for her novels and memoir. Her debut novel, Ten Thousand Saints, was published in 2011 and received significant recognition, being named one of the year's best books by The New York Times Book Review. The novel was adapted into a film in 2015. She followed this with The Twelve-Mile Straight in 2017 and the memoir Everything I Have Is Yours in 2021. Henderson grew up in Florida and pursued higher education at Middlebury College and the University of Virginia, where she earned an MFA degree. She currently teaches in the Department of Writing at Ithaca College.
