Helen Macdonald is an English writer and naturalist. They are best known for their book H is for Hawk, which won significant literary recognition including the 2014 Samuel Johnson Prize and the Costa Book Award. The book's success extended internationally, winning the Prix du Meilleur Livre Étranger in France in 2016.
