Nathan W. Pyle is an American cartoonist and writer based in New York City. He is the creator of Strange Planet, a popular webcomic that has gained a significant following for its distinctive humor and visual style. Strange Planet depicts a planet inhabited by blue beings who observe and discuss ordinary human experiences and activities using unusually technical and scientific language. This contrast between the mundane subject matter and the formal, analytical way the characters discuss it creates the comic's characteristic humor. Pyle's work has achieved considerable commercial success, with multiple books based on Strange Planet reaching The New York Times Best Seller list.
