Otto Penzler is an American editor of mystery fiction. He is the proprietor of The Mysterious Bookshop in New York City, which is one of the world's largest specialty bookstores devoted to mystery, crime, and suspense literature. Penzler has edited numerous anthologies and collections of mystery stories, and has been a significant figure in the mystery fiction genre for many decades.
