Sulaiman Addonia is a British author born in Eritrea in 1974. He spent much of his childhood in refugee camps, from the age of two years old, before being granted asylum in England in 1990. His early experiences shaped his perspective and inform his work as a writer. Beyond his writing career, Addonia is involved in educational work, serving at a creative writing academy for refugees. This role reflects his commitment to supporting others who have experienced displacement and the refugee experience.
