Tim Read was an Australian politician and member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly, representing the district of Brunswick from November 2018 until his death in September 2026. He was affiliated with the Victorian Greens party. Beyond his political career, Read worked as a general practitioner and medical researcher. He held a PhD focusing on the epidemiology of sexually transmitted infections. Within the Greens, he served as the party's spokesperson for Health, Justice, Integrity and Science.
