Born in Israel in 1976, Harari earned his doctorate from Oxford in 2002 and now teaches history at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem while also serving as a Distinguished Research Fellow at Cambridge’s Centre for the Study of Existential Risk; he also co-founded the social impact company Sapienship, focused on education and storytelling, with Itzik Yahav.
