When NHL player joins Seattle's expansion team, he expects his biggest challenge to be on the ice. Instead, he finds himself dealing with his new neighbor, who shows up at midnight trying to break into what she thinks is her apartment. The woman turns out to be his team captain's younger sister, complete with pastel hair and a physical therapy practice. An injury sidelines him for weeks, threatening his season and his career. She offers a solution that benefits them both. She'll help him recover faster than standard rehab allows. He'll become her first professional athlete client who isn't family. The arrangement seems straightforward until proximity breeds attraction. He struggles to maintain professional boundaries while she works to rebuild his strength. Their sessions become charged with tension neither expected. What started as a practical exchange of favors evolves into something that could complicate both their careers and their carefully planned lives.
