Hollywood producer Sidney Friedman brings his crew to Cleveland to film Street Games, a potential blockbuster starring notorious bad boy Darren Anderson. Friedman hires local private investigator Milan Jacovich to keep the unruly young actor out of trouble. Milan takes the job mainly to distract himself from grief over losing a close friend. He has no interest in movies or celebrities. Darren Anderson proves impossible to control. The actor is wealthy, famous, attractive, and young enough to make terrible decisions with all of it. When Anderson faces accusations of seducing a fifteen year old girl whose father owns a furniture empire, Milan quits in disgust. But murder enters the picture, and Milan finds himself pulled into a web of crimes that have nothing to do with making movies. The case forces him to confront dangers far beyond managing a spoiled actor.
