TSA agent Bernice Adams finds a postcard showing the Golden Gate Bridge with a cryptic message at JFK Airport security. Her supervisor ignores her concerns, but Homeland Security agent Ben Waterman takes the threat seriously. Ben suspects someone aboard an Airbus A321 bound for San Francisco plans an attack. The plane carries decorated military pilot Helen Smith, recently widowed after her husband died in Iraq and now raising three children alone. Among the passengers are a famous movie star, a pilot who just lost his career, and a desperate father who has kidnapped his own baby from his estranged wife. As Ben analyzes passenger data and follows his instincts, the aircraft speeds toward California. The crew and travelers must unite against the emerging danger, making split second decisions that will determine whether they survive.
