Backstage Pass

First published 2016

Psychologist Myrna Evans joins the rock band Sinners on tour to research groupie behavior. All five band members pursue her, but she only wants lead guitarist Brian Sinclair. Brian has struggled with writer's block for months, unable to create new music. When he and Myrna become lovers, her passion breaks through his creative barriers. Guitar melodies and solos flood his mind during their intimate moments. He grabs whatever he can find to capture the music, writing notes across her skin and turning composition into foreplay. Their unconventional romance produces what will become hit songs for the band. The other Sinners members witness Brian and Myrna's intense connection, which drives the entire group to perform at new levels. But Myrna's research tour has an end date, and Brian must find a way to convince her their relationship means more than temporary passion.
