Buddy Holly Is Alive and Well on Ganymede

by Bradley Denton

First published 2017

Oliver Vale watches in disbelief as every television on Earth suddenly switches to the same impossible channel. Buddy Holly appears on screen, performing live from somewhere near Jupiter. The rock and roll legend died in 1959, yet here he is, singing nonstop in an unbreakable broadcast that no one can turn off or change. The performance seems aimed directly at Oliver, though he has no idea why. Soon mysterious forces recruit him for a classified mission. They won't tell him what he's supposed to do or why they need him. Oliver only knows that somehow Buddy Holly's cosmic concert has made him the center of a secret operation he doesn't understand. As the broadcasts continue without pause, Oliver must figure out his role in this bizarre situation before it's too late.
