Ed Loy is settling into a new relationship in Dublin when his old friend Jack Donovan arrives from Los Angeles. Jack, a film director with a complicated past, needs to shoot a movie. But when a young female extra disappears from his set, Loy grows uneasy. The missing woman is the third in what Los Angeles police call the Three-in-One killings. A serial murderer targets young, vulnerable women and always kills them in groups of three. The previous victims were found at locations Jack had used for his films. Loy flies to LA to work with the LAPD, hoping to find evidence in his shared history with Jack that will clear his friend's name. Instead, he uncovers a truth that may come too late. The killer has returned to Dublin and broken his usual pattern. He strikes directly at Loy's life, targeting someone close to him. Loy races against time to outsmart a calculating murderer and rescue the final victim.
