Anna and Elsa grow up as strangers after a magical incident wipes away their memories of each other and of magic itself. The kingdom separates the sisters to keep them safe. Years later, Elsa becomes queen of Arendelle without knowing she once had a sister. Strange magical powers begin to surface around her, powers she cannot understand or control. Meanwhile, Anna lives elsewhere, unaware of her royal heritage or her connection to the new queen. As Elsa struggles with mysterious abilities and fragments of forgotten memories, both sisters feel an unexplained emptiness. Questions about their past multiply as the magic grows stronger. The sisters must discover the truth about their shared history and find their way back to each other before the kingdom falls to forces neither understands.
