Bedtime arrives for five little ducklings after a busy day. The first duckling accepts that it's time to rest. The second duckling encourages the group to put on their pajamas. Everything proceeds smoothly until the fifth little duckling announces with excitement that sleeping is not in the plans tonight. This declaration disrupts the orderly progression toward sleep. The other ducklings must work together while Mama duck provides loving guidance to restore harmony. Through cooperation among siblings and maternal care, the household finds its way back to a peaceful evening. All five ducklings settle in for a cozy night of rest.
