Lydia expects her new job at the Senior Citizens' Social Club to involve tea and quiet card games. Instead she discovers Art, a former actor who steals compulsively, Daphne, who conceals decades of secrets, and Ruby, who knits acts of revenge. These supposedly harmless seniors use their invisibility to hide elaborate schemes. When the city council moves to sell their community center, the Social Club members face losing their sanctuary. They team up with toddlers from the neighboring daycare, plus a teenage father and an ancient dog. Their unconventional rescue plan breaks multiple laws, but it might actually save the building. The group races against time while dodging police attention. This unlikely alliance discovers that age and youth together create unstoppable forces of mischief and heart.
