Bertie Wooster returns from Cannes smitten with Georgiana Meadowes, but she's engaged to wealthy Rupert Venables to save her guardian's estate. At Sir Henry Hackwood's Dorset manor, Bertie finds himself in an impossible situation. He must masquerade as a servant while his valet Jeeves assumes the role of gentleman in the drawing room. The solution to both romantic predicaments apparently requires this elaborate charade, though Bertie cannot see how. Jeeves, ever devoted and philosophical, clearly has a scheme brewing. As mix-ups multiply and mishaps mount, Bertie must navigate the servants' quarters while love triangles complicate life above and below stairs.
