Kill the Boy Band

by Goldy Moldavsky

First published 2016

Four teenage girls check into the same hotel as their favorite boy band. They want nothing more than to get close to the musicians they worship. Their plan seems simple enough until they end up with a room key, a cell phone, and one band member trapped in their hotel room. The girls never intended to kidnap anyone, particularly not the member they consider the least talented. Now they possess his secrets and face choices they never imagined making. What started as typical fan behavior spirals into something far more dangerous. The girls must decide how far their obsession will take them and what they're willing to do to the celebrity they claim to love. Moldavsky crafts a dark comedy that exposes the thin line between adoration and destruction in fan culture.
