Lords of the Sith

by Paul S. Kemp

First published 2015

Emperor Palpatine travels to Ryloth with his apprentice Darth Vader to crush a growing resistance movement. The planet supplies slave labor and spice to the expanding Empire, making it too valuable to lose. Cham Syndulla leads the rebels alongside Isval, a former slave seeking revenge against her oppressors. When the rebels ambush the Emperor's ship, both Sith Lords crash on the hostile planet surface. Stranded in dangerous terrain with an army of freedom fighters hunting them, Palpatine and Vader must rely only on their lightsabers and the dark side of the Force to survive. The crisis becomes more than suppressing another rebellion. Cut off from their usual resources and facing constant attacks, the master and apprentice find their bond tested in ways neither expected. Their partnership could prove their salvation or their destruction as they fight their way across Ryloth's unforgiving landscape.
