Marvin Redpost wakes up Thursday morning ready for hole day at school. The tradition means everyone wears their most tattered, worn out clothing. Marvin picks his rattiest shirt and pants. His teacher Mrs. North joins in with her own holey outfit. Then Principal McCabe bursts in with shocking news. The President of the United States will visit their classroom in minutes. No time exists to change clothes. Marvin must meet the most powerful person in America while dressed like a ragamuffin. Television cameras will record everything. Marvin worries about what questions he should ask. He also faces his toughest math problem yet with the whole country watching. The visit turns into something nobody expected.
