Angel is sixteen when Call approaches her at the mall. He buys her food and tells her he loves her. He gives her candy that makes her feel like she's flying. Soon she's hooked on the drugs and living with him. Call asks her to sleep with some of his friends as a favor. Then he asks for more favors. Angel ends up working as a prostitute on Hastings and Main in Vancouver. Girls work this notorious corner until they vanish without explanation. The police don't investigate. When Angel's friend Serena disappears, Angel realizes the danger she faces. Then Call brings home another girl who is younger and more innocent than Angel. He wants Angel to teach her the business. Angel knows she must find a way to escape with the new girl before they both disappear forever.
