Julius, a young Nigerian doctor completing his residency in New York, takes long walks through Manhattan's crowded streets. These aimless wanderings provide escape from his demanding medical training and space to think through his recent breakup. Despite moving through busy neighborhoods filled with countless faces, Julius feels deeply isolated. His walks become more than physical journeys as he encounters people from various backgrounds and cultures. These meetings offer different perspectives as he navigates his present circumstances and processes memories from his past. His reflections carry him back to his childhood in Nigeria and forward to a trip to Brussels. Through these experiences, Julius confronts questions about his identity, his place between cultures, and aspects of himself he barely recognizes. The walks reveal both the external landscape of the city and the internal territory of a man caught between worlds, examining themes of belonging, displacement, and what it means to find yourself in a place that feels both familiar and foreign.
