Part of InCryptid

First published 2015

Alexander Price has handled gorgons, basilisks, and a home life that includes two telepaths, a reanimated corpse, and a colony of talking mice with strong religious opinions. He thought he was getting good at this. Then his girlfriend, Shelby Tanner, starts asking pointed questions about werewolves and his passport status, and the next thing Alex knows, he's on a plane to Australia. The continent is a cryptozoologist's dream. It is also filled with unique species, hostile rival cryptozoologists who have no interest in welcoming a visiting expert, and Shelby's family, who have strong feelings about how long she has been living in America. None of that is the real problem. The real problem is a werewolf outbreak. Infected and dangerous, the werewolves want to claim the entire continent for themselves. Alex is currently standing on that continent. He is far from home, far from the family network that usually has his back, and surrounded by people who would rather he leave. He is not leaving. He is also not going down without a fight.
