Lenny can barely function after her best friend Lou dies from cancer. She avoids her parents and the apartment she shared with Lou. She takes temporary babysitting jobs to get by. Her latest gig involves watching Ainsley for Reese, a busy single mother. Ainsley's uncle Miles is always around, and he acts like a complete jerk. Lenny tries to hide that she's falling apart, but Miles sees through her act. He knows about grief too. Miles makes her a deal. He'll help her finish the tasks on her "live again" list if she helps him build a better relationship with Ainsley and Reese. Lenny doubts anything can fill the emptiness Lou left behind. As she spends time with Miles, she starts to realize that losing everything might be the beginning of finding herself and love again.
