Little Georgie and the other animals living on Rabbit Hill have watched the Big House sit empty for months. No humans have tended the garden or walked the grounds. Now new Folks are finally coming to live there, and every creature on the Hill buzzes with anticipation and worry. Will these new residents plant vegetables the rabbits can raid? Will they set traps or welcome the animal community? Little Georgie races through the woods spreading news and speculation. The woodchuck emerges from his burrow to discuss possibilities. Even the wise old owl weighs in on what changes might come. As moving day approaches, the animals gather to catch their first glimpse of their new neighbors. What they discover about these particular Folks will determine whether Rabbit Hill becomes a place of plenty or a place to flee. The fate of their small community hangs in the balance.
