Luke Daniels wraps up his latest mission for the Magellan Billet when the head of a failed CIA operation brings devastating news. His friend John Vince, supposedly executed during a botched espionage network in Ukraine, is actually alive. Vince sits dying in Russia's notorious Solovetsky Island prison with a message he will share only with Luke.
