First published 2024

Luke Daniels wraps up his latest mission for the Magellan Billet when the head of a failed CIA operation brings devastating news. His friend John Vince, supposedly executed during a botched espionage network in Ukraine, is actually alive. Vince sits dying in Russia's notorious Solovetsky Island prison with a message he will share only with Luke. Luke infiltrates the brutal facility and extracts his friend, but Vince dies moments later. His final words are fragments that launch Luke into a hunt spanning centuries. He must find the legendary library of Ivan the Terrible, lost since the 15th century. Hidden within those priceless manuscripts lies the key to deciphering a modern code and stopping a secret Soviet satellite program called Red Star. Other forces, both Russian and foreign, pursue the same library for opposite reasons. They want to restart the Red Star program and unleash its destructive power. Luke races against enemies who would use Ivan's treasure to rain destruction from space.
