Sammy has finally bonded with E, his robot companion, after their rocky start. E has become like a brother to him, but this close relationship makes the other household robots jealous. When Sammy's inventor mother gets absorbed in a classified project, she neglects the regular maintenance her mechanical creations need. The frustrated robots decide they've had enough of being ignored. They launch a full rebellion, filling shampoo bottles with glue and launching breakfast foods across the kitchen. Sammy teams up with his disabled sister Maddie to manage the mechanical mayhem while their mom works in secret. The siblings must restore order to their chaotic home and figure out what project could be important enough to cause this robotic uprising. As pranks escalate and household systems break down, Sammy discovers that family means taking care of everyone who matters, whether they're made of flesh or circuits.
