Perico the parrot knows what he wants to say, but his human owners keep getting it wrong. When he asks for agua, they drag him off to the opera. When he tells them he feels mal, they bundle him up for a trip to the mall. Each misunderstanding leads to another frustrating adventure as Perico gets passed from one well-meaning but clueless owner to the next. The little parrot squawks and tries again, but the humans just don't seem to hear what he's actually saying. Through one mix-up after another, Perico searches for the one person who will finally listen carefully enough to understand his words and give him what he really needs.
