Faye returns to Ghostlight Youth Theater Camp for her last summer before graduation. She plans to step away from the princess roles that have defined her performances and embrace her Afro-Latina identity on stage. The familiar camp routine shifts when she finds herself competing against her best friend for leading parts. A new camper catches her attention and complicates her focus. Then stagehands begin vanishing. Accidents turn gruesome. Bodies pile up behind the scenes. Faye refuses to let the deaths derail the production. She believes the timing must be coincidental. The show will go on despite the mounting evidence that someone wants opening night to end in massacre. Faye must discover what secrets lurk in the camp's shadows before the curtain rises on her final performance.
