Parker Welles faces bankruptcy after her father's insider trading scandal destroys the family fortune. She drives to Gideon's Cove, Maine, with her young daughter to sell her last asset: a run-down house that needs major repairs. James Cahill, her father's former business partner, insists on helping with the renovation project.
