Henry Letham walks away from a car crash on the Brooklyn Bridge and into the office of psychiatrist Sam Foster. The college student and aspiring artist carries depression, paranoia, and crushing guilt. He hears voices that others cannot. He predicts events before they happen. He questions why his regular psychiatrist Beth Levy suddenly disappeared. During their sessions, Henry reveals his intention to end his life on Saturday at midnight. Sam scrambles to reach the missing Dr. Levy but cannot locate her. His girlfriend Lila, who once attempted suicide herself, volunteers to help save Henry. Time runs short as Henry vanishes into the night. Sam faces a desperate race against Henry's deadline while wrestling with questions about reality, identity, and whether he can pull someone back from the edge of self-destruction.
