Fergus Fadden faces financial ruin. The Irish writer living in America owes alimony for his daughter while his wife pursues divorce. When a studio offers him work adapting his own novel into a screenplay, Fergus escapes to a house on the California coast. His girlfriend Dani joins him there, but she's not his only company.
