Bethany Black makes it back to Dead Western, the last human stronghold in a world gone to hell. She expects relief, maybe even safety after everything she has endured. Instead, she discovers that sanctuary offers no real escape from the nightmare that has consumed Earth. The fortress walls cannot keep out the deeper truth that haunts everyone inside. Hope becomes a luxury no one can afford when survival itself hangs by a thread. Dead Western may shelter bodies, but it cannot protect souls from the reality that this hellish existence may be all that remains. Bethany must confront whether any refuge truly exists in a world where darkness has already won. Her journey continues, but the destination grows more uncertain with each step.
