Survivors

First published 2013

Buzz, Vanessa, Carter, and Jane have been stranded on a remote South Pacific island for eleven days. No adults survived with them. No rescue supplies washed ashore. The four children have learned to make fire and scavenge for food, but their makeshift shelter has collapsed. Worse, they may have missed their only chance at rescue. Now they must venture deeper into the island's dangerous jungle interior just to stay alive. The island guards dark secrets from its past. Threats emerge from every direction as the kids push further into unknown territory. Their survival depends on working together when trust becomes their most valuable resource. Each day tests whether their fragile partnership can withstand the mounting pressures of hunger, fear, and isolation in a place that seems determined to break them.
