When a nursery rhyme character is found dead, Detective Inspector Jack Spratt and his partner Mary Mary must crack the case. Their investigation leads them to the Eggheads, a secretive organization of anthropomorphic eggs, who may be hiding a deadly conspiracy. As Spratt and Mary race to unravel the mystery before more "nursery crimes" occur, they must confront their own biases and the unsettling truth that not everything is as simple as it seems in the world of children's rhymes.
