Part of Percy Jackson and the Olympians
First published 2023
Percy Jackson just wants to graduate from Alternative High School in New York and move on to New Rome University. The son of Poseidon has already saved the world from monsters, Titans, and giants multiple times. Now he faces a different challenge. His father delivers unwelcome news: Percy must complete three quests to earn recommendation letters from Mount Olympus before any college will accept him. His first assignment involves helping Ganymede, Zeus's cupbearer, recover a stolen golden goblet. The cup holds dangerous power. One drink from it can transform any mortal into a god, something Zeus absolutely forbids. Percy teams up with his loyal friends Grover and Annabeth to track down the precious vessel before it falls into the wrong hands. But even if they succeed in finding it, they must face an ultimate test of willpower. Can they resist the temptation to taste the divine liquid themselves?
