The Dead Father is enormous, half alive and half dead, part flesh and part machine. He possesses wisdom and vanity in equal measure, clinging to ambitions even as others pull him forward with a thick cable. This strange procession moves toward a destination that remains unclear. The Dead Father retains his power but cannot stop his journey or control where it leads. He speaks and thinks and hopes, trapped between life and death, between organic and mechanical existence. The cable grows taut. The dragging continues. What waits at the end of this bizarre pilgrimage will determine everything, but the Dead Father cannot know what that might be. He can only experience each moment of being pulled forward, massive and unwilling, toward whatever conclusion awaits him.
