Bob Saginowski runs a neighborhood bar in Boston, a front for local gangsters. One night, Bob finds an injured pit bull pup in his bar's drop-box and takes it home, unaware he's stumbled into a deadly criminal conspiracy. As the dog's troubled owner comes looking for him, Bob is drawn deeper into a world of violence, blackmail, and moral compromise.
