Lo Lobey belongs to an alien species that has colonized Earth after humanity's departure. His people struggle to understand the mythologies and cultural remnants left behind by their predecessors. When Lobey loses his beloved Friza, he embarks on a quest to find her that takes him deep into the strange landscape of abandoned human artifacts and half-understood legends. As he travels, Lobey must navigate not only the physical dangers of this post-human world but also the challenge of being different in a society trying to adopt dominant cultural patterns. His journey becomes both a literal search for Friza and a deeper exploration of how outsiders can claim their place in history. The quest forces Lobey to confront questions about identity, belonging, and the creation of new mythologies from the fragments of the old world.
