The Good Man Jesus and the Scoundrel Christ

by Philip Pullman

First published 2010

In this daring reimagining, Philip Pullman splits the life of Jesus in two. The good-hearted Jesus preaches love and mercy, while his twin, Christ, manipulates the masses for his own gain. As their paths intertwine, a battle rages for the soul of an entire religion. Charged with mystery and moral ambiguity, this spell-binding tale asks who truly shaped the most influential story ever told.
