A strange murder in Rhode Island reveals a plot to rob the federal printing facility in Washington D.C., where the government produces its new money. Bell must locate the criminals and recover the stolen currency before they can demolish the Federal Reserve system and wreck America's financial foundation. The detective races against time as economic catastrophe looms.
