The traveler stands before the Incarnadine Stair, a massive structure carved from ruby that stretches beyond sight into the sky. Around him spreads a world stripped of wonder. Men and mages have conquered every monster and sealed the Fire Womb that once birthed wild magic. They plundered the Creator's Throne and scattered its power. Now they covet the Stair's enchantments, drawn by its ageless perfection and obvious magical force. The traveler sees what others miss. This world has become poor and barren without its wild magic. While others hunt for the Stair's power, he seeks something different. He believes the Stair exists to be climbed, and whatever waits at its end might restore what the world has lost. His quest becomes a journey toward hope itself, driven by faith that magic can return to a realm that has forgotten its own heart.
