Lucy steps through an ordinary wardrobe and finds herself in a snowy forest. She has discovered Narnia, a secret world trapped in eternal winter by the White Witch. When Lucy tells her siblings Peter, Susan, and Edmund about her discovery, they don't believe her. Edmund follows Lucy into Narnia but meets the evil White Witch, who manipulates him with enchanted Turkish Delight. Eventually all four children enter Narnia together and learn that Edmund has betrayed them to the Witch. They meet Aslan, the great lion who rules Narnia, and join his fight against the White Witch's tyranny. The children must choose between safety and courage as they become key players in an ancient prophecy. Their adventure transforms them from ordinary schoolchildren into kings and queens of a magical realm.
