Kevin Moore dumps his phone in a San Francisco trash can and walks away from his life. He joins 399 other Americans who disappear on the same day in early summer 2017, leaving behind jobs, families, and identities. They call themselves the Massive Brigade, a movement led by the magnetic Martin Bishop who believes America needs faster change. FBI Special Agent Rachel Proulx has tracked left-wing groups since 2016 and knows Bishop well. She tries to convince her colleagues that the Brigade poses a real threat, but she needs to locate the missing people before they execute their mysterious plan. As Rachel digs deeper into the organization, she uncovers a scheme that will stun the country and send shockwaves through the FBI to the top levels of government.
