Alex Bartlett reads the blog posts of someone called LBH from his home in Daytona Beach, Florida. This anonymous writer pours out her loneliness and pain online, believing nobody cares enough to read her words. Alex does care. He nurses his own broken heart and finds himself drawn to this vulnerable woman whose feelings echo his own. Using clues from her posts, Alex discovers LBH lives in Midway, Utah. He travels there after Thanksgiving, searching for someone named Lisa, Lori, or Luanne. At the Mistletoe Diner, he meets Aria, a waitress who serves him pie and offers sympathy while encouraging his quest. Alex eventually finds his LBH, a woman as beautiful and kind as he imagined. But he faces an impossible choice. How can he reveal that he knows her most private thoughts? And what about his growing feelings for Aria, the waitress who showed him kindness when he needed it most?
