The Nightmares on Elm Street Parts 1, 2, 3

by Bruce Wagner

First published 1987

Ten years have passed since angry Elm Street parents burned child killer Freddy Krueger alive. Springfield sleeps peacefully again. Then the nightmares start. Children wake screaming about a deformed figure with razor blades for fingers. Freddy has returned, no longer human but pure evil given form. He stalks victims through their dreams, turning sleep into a death trap. The nightmares bleed into reality as Freddy bends the children to his twisted will. Parents watch helplessly as their kids fall under his influence. Terror spreads through Springfield's streets as Freddy claims new victims. The children face an impossible choice: stay awake forever or surrender to the monster waiting in their dreams. Sleep becomes the enemy in a town where closing your eyes means death.
