The Path

First published 2021

Three young explorers set out with sketchbooks and a magnifying glass to study their familiar neighborhood path. Each child approaches their walk differently, sketching and examining what they find along the way. What starts as a routine journey becomes something extraordinary as they notice details they missed before. The path reveals itself to be alive with constant transformation. Small shifts in nature and their surroundings create new discoveries each time they venture out. Through careful observation, the children learn that nothing stays exactly the same from one day to the next. Their individual perspectives combine to build a rich understanding of the world around them. The story shows how paying attention to living things, no matter how small, opens up endless possibilities for wonder and connection.
