A princess awakens in her thorny tower after years of enchanted sleep. She finds no prince, only grotesquely long hair and fingernails covering her body. The crew includes Vic, a muscular centaur who magically conjures tea and cupcakes when stressed and desperately wants this embarrassing power removed. Tempest, a dryad, studies to become the first tree-lawyer before she transforms into a man-eating plant. Alobartalus, an awkward elf, seeks his hero the Sn'archivist, who supposedly records divine messages. Together they face a villainous capitalist scheme while navigating the high seas. This princess discovers that finding herself matters more than finding true love's kiss.
