Thrall feels something wrong in the spiritual realm. The orc warchief has spent years learning to communicate with elemental spirits, calming their destructive power and bringing balance to Azeroth. Fire elementals once raged across the world until ancient titans locked them away in another plane. Some escaped back to Azeroth, where shamans learned to work with them through patience and respect. Now these same spirits ignore Thrall completely. They refuse his calls and act erratically, their behavior growing more unpredictable each day. Meanwhile, his orc people struggle with shortages of basic supplies. Relations with their night elf neighbors grow more tense as resources become scarce. Thrall must find answers to the elemental crisis while managing his responsibilities as a leader. The spiritual disruption may signal something far worse approaching. As both shaman and warchief, Thrall faces the possibility that everything he has worked to build may crumble.
